New player benefits ramp newcomers up gentler through their first few hours. Spawn RTP portal stops burning charges that don't teleport. Claim tools pin to fixed hotbar slots so they can't be lost.

New Player Benefits (Auto-Expiring)

First 5 hours of playtime: 40% less PvE damage from hostile mobs. PvP, fall, fire, drown unchanged
First 10 hours: /back survives death so you can recover your drops
Both expire silently based on lifetime playtime - no tab tag, no broadcast
Death during the /back window shows a private action bar reminder

Spawn RTP Portal Fixed

Portal was burning a use without teleporting - /rtp's own cooldown was eating the request
Portal now calls the RTP engine directly. Failed teleports refund the use
5 uses per 20-minute cooldown. 10-min idle resets the counter early
/rtp command and the portal have independent cooldowns

Claim Settings

New Allow /home set toggle (off by default). Trusted players, town members, and the owner always bypass

Claim Tool Hotbar Fixes

Claiming Chalk, Cancel, and Complete now live at fixed slots 7/8/9 (was first-free)
Items in those slots are saved and restored when the session ends
All three claim items are non-droppable and survive Q-key, drag-out, swap, and shift-click
Cleanup on finish/cancel/disconnect/death sweeps the whole inventory

Thalen & Quests

Thalen now sells Mysterious Coins for $10,000 each
Logger quest counts logs broken with any tool, including bare hands. Mining quests still require a pickaxe

Fixed party chat bleeding into the Discord live-chat bridge. Party chat is private again
